Biography
Kent Williams is an American actor. Born on 27 December 1950 in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, he studied music and theatre at the State University of New York at Oswego, graduating in 1973.
He is known for his recurring role as Assistant District Attorney and later Special Prosecutor Lawrence D. Barrington in the television programmes Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer (1983–1987) and The New Mike Hammer, and for reprising a similar character as Deputy Mayor Barry Lawrence in Mike Hammer, Private Eye (1997–1998). His film credits include WarGames (1983) as Cabot, The Eagle Has Landed (1976), The In-Laws (1979) and Time After Time (1979). He also appeared in guest roles on series such as MacGyver, Quantum Leap, Law & Order, Murder, She Wrote and Touched by an Angel.
