Biography
Kevin Phipps is a British production designer and art director. He began his career in the art department as a draughtsman on films including The Lords of Discipline (1983) before advancing to art director and supervising art director roles on major features.
His early credits as art director or supervising art director include The Fifth Element (1997), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Troy (2004), V for Vendetta (2005) and Eyes Wide Shut (1999). He later worked as production designer on features such as Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011), Resident Evil: Retribution (2012) and The Forest (2016), and on television series including American Gods (2017), You (2023) and an episode of Black Mirror (2019).
Phipps is a member of the British Film Designers Guild. He has received Emmy nominations and other awards recognition for his work.
