Biography
Kishō Taniyama is a Japanese voice actor and singer. He is known for voicing Jean Kirstein in the anime series Attack on Titan (2013) and its sequels, as well as roles including Yuya Fungami in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2012), Kittan Bachika in Gurren Lagann (2007) and Tatsuya Himuro in Kuroko's Basketball (2012).
Born in Ube, Yamaguchi, on 11 August 1975, Taniyama graduated from Yamaguchi Prefectural Ube High School and the Voice Acting Department of Yoyogi Animation Academy. He made his voice acting debut in 1995 and is affiliated with Ken Production. Under the stage name Kishow, he is the vocalist and lyricist of the rock unit GRANRODEO, which specialises in anime soundtracks.
