Biography
Klaus Badelt is a German composer of film scores. Born on 12 June 1967 in Frankfurt am Main, West Germany, he began his career composing music for films and commercials in his native country.
In 1998 he joined Hans Zimmer's Media Ventures studio in Santa Monica, California. He contributed to Zimmer's scores for films including The Thin Red Line (1998), The Prince of Egypt (1998) and Gladiator (2000). His independent credits include The Time Machine (2002), Equilibrium (2002) and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003). He has also worked on projects in French and Chinese cinema and with director Werner Herzog.
