Biography
Kōhei Miyauchi (born Takayuki Miyauchi) was a Japanese actor and voice actor. Born on 4 August 1929 in Kagoshima Prefecture, he worked from the 1950s until his death and was affiliated with Aoni Production.
He was known for voicing elderly characters in anime, including Master Roshi (Kame-Sennin) in the Dragon Ball television series (1986) and Dragon Ball Z (1989–1995), as well as in several related films between 1986 and 1993. Other roles included Gol in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) and the gardener in Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979).
Miyauchi died on 2 June 1995 in Tokyo from abdominal varices.
