Biography
Koichi Ueda is a Japanese actor, also credited as Kôichi Ueda and Koichi Yamashita. He was born on 2 April 1941 in Tokyo, Japan.
Ueda is known for his appearances in twelve consecutive Toho Godzilla films from Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989) to Godzilla: Final Wars (2004). His roles include General Dobashi in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (2002) and Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003), Deputy Commander Hyodo in Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (1994), General Hyodo in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II (1993), Marutomo Employee in Godzilla vs. Mothra (1992), Former Lagos Island Soldier Ikehata in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991), and Aquarium Watchman in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995). He has also appeared in other films and television productions.
