Biography
Krysty Wilson-Cairns is a Scottish screenwriter. She was born on 26 May 1987 in Glasgow and studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the National Film and Television School.
As a teenager she worked as a runner on television series including Taggart. Her unproduced script Aether featured on the 2014 Black List and led to a staff writer role on the series Penny Dreadful.
Her feature debut was co-writing the screenplay for 1917 (2019) with Sam Mendes. She later co-wrote Last Night in Soho (2021) with Edgar Wright and wrote the screenplay for The Good Nurse (2022).
