Biography
Laara Sadiq is a Canadian actress of Pakistani descent. She holds a BFA from the University of British Columbia and has worked extensively in theatre, film, television and voice-over.
Her screen credits include voice roles as Fattema and the Old Woman in the animated film The Breadwinner (2017), and appearances in 2012 (2009) as a British newscaster, Eight Below (2006) and The Invisible (2007). She has recurring or guest roles in series such as Stargate SG-1, Battlestar Galactica, Fringe, Arrow and Superman & Lois.
Sadiq has received a Leo Award for best lead performance by a female in a feature-length drama for Excited (2009) and multiple Jessie Awards for her stage work.
