Biography
Ladislav Beran is a Czech actor and choreographer. Born on 8 February 1967 in Czechoslovakia, he studied in Prague and began as a dancer and choreographer, appearing in dancing shows, musicals and stage plays from 1991.
He moved into film acting and choreography with Rebelové (2001), where he played a trombonist and served as choreographer. Beran appeared as a drug dealer in Blade II (2002) and as Karl Ruprecht Kroenen in Hellboy (2004), both directed by Guillermo del Toro; he also worked as fight choreographer on the latter. Other credits include a guard in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011) and an episode of Crossing Lines (2014).
