Biography
Lars Väringer is a Swedish actor. Born on 20 August 1951 in Nyköping, he initially trained as a teacher before studying acting at the theatre school in Malmö from 1980 to 1983. He has worked extensively in theatre, including at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm and Backa teater in Göteborg, and has also directed radio plays.
Väringer began appearing in television in the mid-1980s and is known for roles in the series Sjätte dagen (1999–2001) and Love & Anarchy (2020–2022). His film credits include Sune's Summer (1993), Midsommar (2019) and Sentimental Value (2025), in which he plays Peter.
