Biography
Laura Cayouette is an American actress. Born in Washington, D.C. on 11 July 1964 and raised in Maryland, she graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in English and from the University of South Alabama with an MA in Creative Writing and English Literature. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York before moving to Los Angeles in 1992, where she trained with Milton Katselas and Ivana Chubbuck.
Her screen career began in 1996 with a role in The Evening Star. She is best known for playing Lara Lee Candie-Fitzwilly in Django Unchained (2012) and Rocket in Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004). Cayouette has appeared in films including Enemy of the State (1998), Now You See Me (2013) and Green Lantern (2011), and has worked with Quentin Tarantino on four projects. She has also directed short films, written books and acted in television series such as Friends and Queen Sugar.
