Biography

Laure Gardette is a French film editor. She was born in 1969 in Lentigny, Loire.

Gardette has edited numerous feature films, including Polisse (2011), for which she won the César Award for Best Editing, In the House (2012), Young & Beautiful (2013), Frantz (2016), Capernaum (2018), By the Grace of God (2019), Summer of 85 (2020) and November (2022). She has worked repeatedly with directors François Ozon and Nadine Labaki. She is a professor at the ESEC film school in Paris.
