Biography
Lauren Ridloff (née Teruel) is an American actress. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on 6 April 1978, she studied at California State University, Northridge and earned a master's degree in education from Hunter College. She worked as a kindergarten teacher in New York before pursuing acting and was Miss Deaf America from 2000 to 2002.
Ridloff received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Play for her performance as Sarah Norman in the 2018 Broadway revival of Children of a Lesser God. She is known for playing Connie in the AMC series The Walking Dead (2018–2022) and Makkari in the film Eternals (2021). Other credits include Sound of Metal (2019) and Wonderstruck (2017).
