Biography
Laurent Ott is a French production designer and art director. Born on 29 August 1967 in Paris, he began working in the art department in the 1990s and advanced to art director and production designer credits in the early 2000s.
He is known for his production design on The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007), Elle (2016), Zulu (2013), The Odyssey (2016), Kompromat (2022) and Rosalie (2023). He has also worked as art director on films including Syriana (2005) and Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra (2002). Ott has collaborated repeatedly with director Jérôme Salle and is a member of the Association des décoratrices et décorateurs de cinéma.
