Biography
Laurent Zeitoun is a French screenwriter, producer and director. He was born on 16 June 1973 in Paris.
Zeitoun has written or co-written several comedies and dramas, including Heartbreaker (2010), A Perfect Plan (2012), The Volcano (2013), Santa Claus (2014), A Bag of Marbles (2017) and Fireheart (2022). He produced The Intouchables (2011) and other films such as Heartbreaker (2010), Leap! (2016), The Death of Stalin (2017) and A Bag of Marbles (2017).
He directed Fireheart (2022) and created the television series Peplum (2015–2019). Zeitoun received the European Film Award for Best Comedy for The Death of Stalin in 2018 and was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2023.
