Biography
Laurie Holden, also credited as Heather Laurie Holden, is an American-Canadian actress. Born in Los Angeles, California, she was raised in Toronto and holds dual citizenship. She studied economics and political science at McGill University before transferring to the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned a degree in theatre and film. She later obtained a master's degree from Columbia University.
Holden began acting as a child and is known for her role as Marita Covarrubias in The X-Files (1996–2002) and as Andrea Harrison in the series The Walking Dead (2010–2013). Other credits include Cybil Bennett in Silent Hill (2006), Amanda Dunfrey in The Mist (2007), and Crimson Countess in The Boys (2022). She has appeared in The Shield (2008), The Americans (2017–2018) and Chicago Fire (2015). In 2013 she won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work on The Walking Dead.
