Biography
Lazar Ristovski is a Serbian actor, director, producer and writer. Born on 26 October 1952 in Ravno Selo near Vrbas, he graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Belgrade.
He is known for his stage work, having given more than 4,000 performances, and for film roles including Petar 'Crni' Popara in Underground (1995), Raja in Tito and Me (1992), and appearances in Casino Royale (2006) and The November Man (2014). As a filmmaker, he wrote, directed, produced and starred in The White Suit (1999), which screened in the Critics' Week section at Cannes.
