Biography
Lee Cronin is an Irish film director and screenwriter. Born in Dublin on 24 January 1982, he began his career making short films. His short horror film Ghost Train (2013) won the Méliès d'Argent and was included in the anthology Minutes Past Midnight (2016).
Cronin made his feature directorial debut with The Hole in the Ground (2019). He directed two episodes of the series 50 States of Fright (2020) and wrote and directed Evil Dead Rise (2023), the fifth film in the Evil Dead franchise. He is attached to write and direct Lee Cronin's The Mummy (2026). In 2024 he co-founded the production company Wicked/Good with John Keville and Macdara Kelleher.
