Biography
Lee Rose is an American film and television director, producer and writer. She began her career in 1993 as producer and writer of the television film It's Nothing Personal. She continued in those roles on several television films in the 1990s before making her directorial debut with the 1998 film The Color of Courage.
Rose has directed numerous television films, including The Truth About Jane (2000), A Girl Thing (2001) and An Unexpected Love (2003). From 2004 she has directed episodes of series including Weeds (2005), True Blood (2008), Under the Dome (2013), Star Trek: Discovery (2017–2024) and Firefly Lane (2021). She has also served as executive producer on Firefly Lane.
