Biography
Lee Shorten is an Australian actor working in film, television and theatre. He grew up in Tamworth, Australia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Newcastle in 2009, later obtaining a Master of Laws from the Australian National University in 2013. He practised law for several years before turning to acting.
Shorten is known for recurring roles as Sergeant Yoshida in The Man in the High Castle (2015–2016) and Walt Yoshida in The Terror (2019). He played Rafa in the film Swan Song (2021). Other credits include appearances in Supernatural, The Flash, iZombie, Arrow and voice work in The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) and BLUE EYE SAMURAI (2023).
He received a Jessie Award nomination for his stage performance in Kim's Convenience and made his directorial debut with the short film J'adoube in 2018.
