Biography
Leopold Stokowski was a British conductor. He conducted the Philadelphia Orchestra for the soundtrack of the Walt Disney film Fantasia (1940) and appeared in the film as himself.
Born in London on 18 April 1882, Stokowski died on 13 September 1977. He had earlier conducted for other films including One Hundred Men and a Girl (1937).
