Biography
Leslie H. Martinson (also credited as Leslie Martinson or Les Martinson) was an American film and television director. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he began his career in Hollywood as a script clerk at MGM in 1936 after working as a newspaper journalist. He later became a script supervisor before moving into directing in the early 1950s.
Martinson directed episodes of numerous television series, including Mission: Impossible (1966), Batman (1966), Wonder Woman (1975), The Brady Bunch (1969), Dallas (1978), The Six Million Dollar Man (1974), Airwolf (1984) and Small Wonder (1985). His feature film credits include PT 109 (1963) and the 1966 Batman film. He was married to television host and writer Connie Martinson.
