Biography
Leslie Morgenstein is a producer and the founder and president of Alloy Entertainment, a production company specialising in books, television and film. The Los Angeles and New York-based company became part of Warner Bros. Television in 2012. Morgenstein previously served as president of its predecessor, 17th Street Productions, from 1999.
He has executive produced numerous television series, including The Vampire Diaries (2009), Pretty Little Liars (2010), The 100 (2014), The Originals (2013), Legacies (2018), You (2018) and Gossip Girl (2021). His feature film credits as producer include Sex Drive (2008), Everything, Everything (2017), Work It (2020), Purple Hearts (2022) and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (2023).
Morgenstein holds an undergraduate degree in writing and photography from Sarah Lawrence College, an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and completed master’s work in English and creative writing at the City College of New York. He is Jewish.
