Biography
Leslie Schofield is an English actor. Born on 12 December 1938 in Oldham, Lancashire, he began acting while serving in the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy. After performances in naval productions, including a prize-winning role in a 1963 drama festival, he left the service and entered repertory theatre.
Schofield appeared as an Imperial officer in Star Wars (1977). On television he has played roles in Doctor Who, Blake's 7, EastEnders (as Jeff Healy from 1997 to 2000, and earlier as Brian Wicks), The Smoking Room (as Len, 2004–2005) and Midsomer Murders (2006). His screen career ran from the late 1960s until the mid-2000s.
