Biography

Libby Villari is an American actress, also credited as Margaret Elizabeth Webb. Born on 17 November 1951 in North Carolina, she graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Theatre and began her career in stage productions in Texas.

She is known for her recurring role as Mayor Lucy Rodell in the television series Friday Night Lights (2006–2010). Her film roles include Grandma in Boyhood (2014), a waitress in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), Casey's mother in The Faculty (1998), and a nurse in Boys Don't Cry (1999). She has appeared in other films such as Infamous (2006) and The Vast of Night (2019), and has worked in Texas theatre and with directors including Richard Linklater.
