Biography
Lila Byock is a television writer and producer. She wrote episodes of Watchmen (2019) and The Leftovers (2014), and also contributed to Castle Rock (2018) and Manhattan (2014). She has worked as a supervising producer on Watchmen and co-producer on Castle Rock.
Byock earned an MFA in fiction from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and spent five years on the editorial staff of The New Yorker before moving into television. Her work has received an Emmy Award and Writers Guild of America awards. She is married to writer Sam Shaw.
