Biography

Lionel Selwyn (1929–2013) was a British film and television editor and sound specialist. He began his career as an assistant editor on The Man in the White Suit (1951) and later worked as an editor on feature films and television series, including multiple episodes of The Avengers (1961).

In the later part of his career, Selwyn focused on sound post-production. He received credits as a sound editor on films such as Dunkirk (1958), Circus of Horrors (1960) and Appointment with Death (1988), and as a foley artist on Emma (1996), Shadow of the Vampire (2000), Love Actually (2003) and The Dark (2005).
