Biography
Liz Cackowski is an American actress, comedian and comedy writer. She began her career performing at The Second City in Chicago before writing for Saturday Night Live from 2004 to 2006.
From 2009 to 2010 she worked as a writer and story editor on the NBC series Community, also appearing in the first season as Gail the School Counselor. Her other writing credits include In the Motherhood (2009), Up All Night (2011) and The Last Man on Earth (2015–2017). She has acted in films including Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Neighbors (2014) and its 2016 sequel, Licorice Pizza (2021) and Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022).
Cackowski's brother is comedian Craig Cackowski. She is married to Akiva Schaffer.
