Biography
Liz Sagal, also credited as Elizabeth Sagal, is an American writer, producer and former actress. Born on 9 October 1961 in Los Angeles, California, she is the daughter of director Boris Sagal and the twin sister of actress and director Jean Sagal.
She began her career acting in films including Grease 2 (1982) and Howard the Duck (1986). Sagal later worked as a writer on series such as Mad About You, Two Guys and a Girl, Monk, Charmed and Lost in Space. She wrote multiple episodes of Sons of Anarchy (2008), on which her sister Katey Sagal starred and her brother-in-law Kurt Sutter served as showrunner; she also held producing roles on the series. Other writing credits include Banshee, Da Vinci's Demons and The Flight Attendant.
