Biography
Liz Tigelaar is an American television writer and producer. She was born on 4 October 1975 in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in scriptwriting and politics.
Tigelaar began her career as an assistant on Dawson's Creek in 2000 and went on to write for series including American Dreams, Brothers & Sisters, Once and Again and Melrose Place. She served as writer and co-executive producer on the first season of Once Upon a Time (2011). She created and executive produced the CW series Life Unexpected (2010).
Her other credits include writing for Revenge (2011), Bates Motel (2013), Nashville (2012), Casual (2015) and Little Fires Everywhere (2020). She has also worked as a producer on Tiny Beautiful Things (2023).
