Biography
Liza Koshy, also credited as Elizabeth Shaila Koshy, is an American actress and media personality. Born on 31 March 1996 in Houston, Texas, she began her career posting comedic videos on Vine in 2013 before moving to YouTube.
She made her acting debut in the 2016 film Boo! A Madea Halloween and has since appeared in series including Freakish (2016–2017) and Escape the Night (2017–2019). Koshy hosted the Nickelodeon revival of Double Dare (2018–2019) and starred in the Netflix film Work It (2020).
Her film roles include voicing Arcee in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) and playing Detective Barnes in The Naked Gun (2025). She has received Streamy Awards, Teen Choice Awards and a Kids' Choice Award, and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.
