Biography
Lloyd L. Richardson (1915–2002) was an American film editor who worked primarily for the Walt Disney Company. He was born in Portland, Oregon, attended Los Angeles City College, and began at Disney as a runner after a period of odd jobs during the Great Depression.
Richardson edited So Dear to My Heart (1948), Alice in Wonderland (1951), The Vanishing Prairie (1954), Donald in Mathmagic Land (1959) and other Disney productions, as well as episodes of the anthology series The Magical World of Disney. He later edited 69 episodes of the television series Dallas (1979–1989). He was named a Disney Legend and retired in 1980.
