Biography
Lorcan Cranitch is an Irish actor born in Dublin on 28 August 1959. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and began his career on stage and in British television.
He became known for his role as DS Jimmy Beck in the series Cracker (1993–1995). Other television credits include Erastes Fulmen in Rome (2005), roles in Spooks (2002), The Last Kingdom (2015), Fortitude (2015), Vera (2011), Death in Paradise (2011), The Crown (2016) and Les Misérables (2018). Film appearances include Love, Rosie (2014).
