Biography
Lori Forte is an American film producer. She worked in the animation division of 20th Century Fox and developed the idea for the 2002 animated feature Ice Age with the studio and Blue Sky Studios. She produced that film and subsequent entries in the franchise, including Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006), Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009), Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), Ice Age: Collision Course (2016) and related shorts and specials.
Forte also produced Epic (2013) and Ferdinand (2017). The latter earned her and director Carlos Saldanha an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature. Before producing, she taught screenwriting at the American Film Institute. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
