Biography
Denis Colin Leary is an American actor and stand-up comedian. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, he graduated from Emerson College in Boston, where he founded the Emerson Comedy Workshop, and later taught there for five years.
He first gained prominence through MTV appearances and stand-up specials including No Cure for Cancer (1993) and Lock 'n Load (1997). Leary has appeared in films such as Wag the Dog (1997), in which he played the Fad King, The Ref (1994) and Demolition Man (1993). He co-created and starred in the television series Rescue Me (2004–2011) and has provided voice work as Diego in the Ice Age animated films.
