Biography
Lorraine Pilkington is an Irish actress. Born in Dublin in 1974, she trained at the Gaiety School of Acting and began her career at the age of 15 in Neil Jordan's film The Miracle (1991). She appeared in stage productions including The Plough and the Stars and The Iceman Cometh.
Pilkington is known for her roles as Lulu in Human Traffic (1999), Katrina Finlay in the BBC series Monarch of the Glen (2000–2002), and Barbara in Outnumbered (2008). Other credits include appearances in The Boxer (1997), The Last of the High Kings (1996), Waking the Dead (2001), What Richard Did (2012), and Casualty (2016–2019). She has also provided voice work for the animated series Robotboy (2005–2008).
She married director Simon Massey in 2001.
