Biography
Lucas Gray is an animation director and artist. He began working in animation in 1991 on The Simpsons, where he held various roles including prop designer, character designer, storyboard artist and revisionist over several decades. He was a story artist on The Simpsons Movie (2007).
Gray has directed episodes of Rick and Morty (five episodes, 2021–2023) and Solar Opposites (seven episodes, 2020–2022). He has also directed on HarmonQuest and Good Vibes, and worked as an animation director or supervising director on series including Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey and Cosmos: Possible Worlds. He is the son of filmmaker Mike Gray.
