Biography
Luciane Buchanan is a New Zealand actress. Born on 18 July 1993 in Auckland, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Psychology from the University of Auckland in 2017. She trained at the Auckland Performing Arts Centre and first appeared in the 2011 telefilm Billy.
Buchanan is known for her starring role as Rose Larkin in the Netflix series The Night Agent (2023–2025). Other credits include Tripitaka in The New Legends of Monkey (2018–2020), a role in Filthy Rich (2016–2017), Louisa in Sweet Tooth (2021) and Jules in The Tank (2023). She plays Thya in the 2026 film Evil Dead Burn and Kaʻahumanu in Chief of War (2025). In 2024 she wrote and co-starred in the short film Lea Tupu'anga / Mother Tongue.
