Biography
Lucy Akhurst is an English actress who has worked mainly in television since the 1990s. She is also a writer, producer and director.
Her early television roles include appearances in All Quiet on the Preston Front (1994) and Spaced (1999) as Sophie. Film credits include The Land Girls (1998) and an uncredited role in Shaun of the Dead (2004). Later work encompasses Hotel Portofino (2022–2023) as Julia Drummond-Ward, A Spy Among Friends (2022) as Elizabeth Elliott, Alex Rider (2020) and Utopia (2024). She played Alex in the 2026 series Alice and Steve.
Akhurst wrote, produced and starred in the short film Every Seven Years (2004) and directed, co-produced and appeared in Morris: A Life with Bells On (2009).
