Biography
Lucy Montgomery is an English actress, comedian and writer. Born on 24 January 1975 in Epsom, Surrey, she was a member of the Footlights while at Jesus College, Cambridge, and later studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
She built her career as one third of the comedy theatre company Population 3. Montgomery is known for television roles including April in The IT Crowd (2006), various characters in The Mighty Boosh (2004) and The Armstrong and Miller Show, and voice work as Bunty in Disenchantment (2018) and Gerda Gustav in Hilda (2018). She has written for and performed in sketch shows such as Tittybangbang (2005–2007) and contributed to numerous BBC Radio 4 programmes.
