Biography
Ludovic Bource is a French composer. He was born on 19 August 1970 in Pontivy. He studied music at a conservatory in Brittany and later at the Centre d'Informations Musicales in Paris, where he focused on jazz.
Bource began his career scoring commercials and short films. He has collaborated extensively with director Michel Hazanavicius, composing for films including Mes amis (1999), OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies (2006), OSS 117: Lost in Rio (2009) and The Artist (2011). His score for The Artist earned him an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a César Award.
