Biography
Luke Eberl, also credited as Lucas Elliot Eberl or Lucas Elliott Eberl, is an American actor and director born on 29 March 1986 in Boulder, Colorado. He began acting in Colorado theatre before moving into film and television.
His acting credits include the role of Birn in Planet of the Apes (2001), Sam in Letters from Iwo Jima (2006), appearances in Phantoms (1998), Boston Public (2000), Eyeborgs (2009) and an uncredited part in Good Time (2017). He has also worked with directors including Tim Burton and Clint Eastwood.
As a director, Eberl made his feature debut with Choose Connor (2007), which screened at several festivals including the Rome Film Festival and won the Jury Prize for Best American Independent at the Philadelphia Film Festival. He later directed the short film We Won't Forget (2021).
