Biography
Lynda Day George is an American actress. Born Lynda Louise Day, she began her career as a model with the Eileen Ford agency before appearing on Broadway in The Devils. She moved to Los Angeles and took guest roles in 1960s television series including Bonanza, The Fugitive and Route 66.
She is best known for playing Lisa Casey in the final two seasons of Mission: Impossible (1971–1973), a role that earned her a Golden Globe nomination in 1972 and an Emmy nomination in 1973. She appeared in numerous other television series and films, among them Chisum (1970), Wonder Woman (1975), Roots (1977), Pieces (1982) and Murder, She Wrote (1984). She reprised the role of Lisa Casey in the 1988 revival of Mission: Impossible.
Day George was married to actor Christopher George from 1970 until his death in 1983; the couple co-starred in several television films and features.
