Biography
Lynn Hobson is a film and television editor. She began her career supervising post-production and editorial departments for Chanticleer Films' Discovery Program on Showtime, later working on Roger Corman action films, visual effects editing at Warner Brothers, and independent features including My Life with Morrissey (2003).
Her animation work includes lead editorial duties on the HBO series Spawn, editing on the SpongeBob SquarePants television series, and serving as lead editor on The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004). She worked as an associate editor at DreamWorks Animation on titles such as Megamind (2010) and Penguins of Madagascar (2014), and as lead editor on the Dragons: Riders of Berk television series, for which she received two Annie Award nominations. She later edited Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022) and Finding Sofia (2016).
Hobson served as editor on Transformers One (2024).
