Biography
Malou Airaudo is a French dancer, choreographer and actor. Born in Marseille in 1948, she began dance training at the age of eight at the Opéra de Marseille and later performed with companies including the Ballet Russe de Monte-Carlo and Ballet-Théâtre Contemporain.
In 1973 she joined Pina Bausch’s Tanztheater Wuppertal, where she became a key ensemble member and created roles in works such as Café Müller. She has taught at the Folkwang University of the Arts since 1984. Airaudo appeared as the 'Café Müller' dancer in Pedro Almodóvar’s Talk to Her (2002) and featured in Wim Wenders’s Pina (2011).
