Biography
Mamie Gummer is an American actress. She was born Mary Willa Gummer on 3 August 1983 in New York City and is the daughter of actress Meryl Streep and sculptor Don Gummer. She also used the credit Natalie Stern as a child.
Gummer graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in theatre and communications in 2005. Her early screen work includes a role in the 1986 film Heartburn. She made her off-Broadway debut in Mr. Marmalade and received a Theatre World Award.
She is known for her role as Kayla in Side Effects (2013), as well as appearances in The Good Wife (2009–2015) as Nancy Crozier, the series Emily Owens, M.D. (2012–2013), Ricki and the Flash (2015), True Detective (2014) and The Ward (2010).
