Biography
Manjinder Virk is a British actress, director and writer. She was born in Coventry, England, and began acting at the Belgrade Youth Theatre there before studying contemporary dance at De Montfort University. She made her television debut in Holby City in 1999.
Virk has appeared in numerous television series, including a recurring role as Dr Kam Karimore in Midsomer Murders (2016–2018) and as DI Samira Desai in Trigger Point (2022). Other credits include Skins (2010), Call the Midwife (2012), Hunted (2012) and Shetland (2023). She has also written and directed short films, including Forgive (2008) and Out of Darkness (2013).
Virk is married to writer and director Neil Biswas.
