Biography
Manny Coto was a Cuban-born American screenwriter, television director and producer. He graduated from the American Film Institute.
Coto wrote episodes of Tales from the Crypt and The Outer Limits, and created the series Odyssey 5. He served as showrunner on the final season of Star Trek: Enterprise and as executive producer and writer on 24, Dexter (2010–2013) and American Horror Story.
He shared a Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding drama series for his work on 24. Coto died in 2023.
