Biography
Marc Duret is a French actor born on 28 September 1957 in Nice. He trained at the Conservatoire national in Nice, the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris, Rose Bruford College in London, and institutions in New York.
Duret is known for his role as Rico in Luc Besson's La Femme Nikita (1990), for which he received a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actor in 1991. Other film credits include Roberto in The Big Blue (1988) and Inspector 'Notre-Dame' in La Haine (1995). He appeared as Joseph Duverney in the series Outlander (2016) and was nominated for a Molière Award for Best Newcomer in 1994 for his stage work.
