Biography
Marek Horn is a playwright and screenwriter. His debut play Wild Swimming premiered at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, produced by FullRogue in association with Pleasance Futures and Bristol Old Vic Ferment, before transferring to the Bristol Old Vic and touring the UK. Subsequent stage works include Yellowfin (Southwark Playhouse, 2021) and Octopolis (Hampstead Theatre Downstairs, 2023). His plays are published by Nick Hern Books.
In television, Horn has written on the Disney+ series Rivals (2024) and the Amazon series The Girlfriend (2025). He has been a writer on attachment at the Bristol Old Vic, the National Theatre Studio and the RSC, and is a Creator in Residence at BBC Studios.
